Adding users to your BeHome247 platform is a multi-step process. Follow these instructions to set up new users based on their specific roles.
Cleaner, Inspector, or Maintenance Users
- Click on Account under Profile on the left-hand side menu bar.
- Click on Add User. An Add new User pop-up form will appear.
- Fill in the new user's information: First name, Last name, Email, Phone, and Password.
Note: The new user will only be able to log in using this specific email address. Use their company email to avoid access issues.
4. Select Staff as User Type and click Save.
Note: Selecting Staff will create a standard BeHome247 Dashboard and reflect information for internal employees, staff cleaners, or internal maintenance techs.
5. Find the newly created user in the Account User list.
6. Click on Role, select the Access Level, and click Save.
You have successfully created a user!
Note: if your user is assigned the role of Cleaner, Inspector, or Maintenance, your process is complete! All other users will need to be added to a group.
Operator or Admin Users
Operator and Admin roles must be added to property groups to ensure successful account setup. Once you've followed steps 1 to 6 from the previous set of instructions, complete the following to ensure your operators and admins are set to go:
- Click on the Settings button on the left-hand menu bar.
- Click on the Property Groups tab displayed across the top.
- Click the Settings button next to the group you'll assign to your operator or admin.
Tip: If the user is meant to see all properties, search for the All property group and click on its Settings button.
4. Type the new user's name or email address in the Search User box and click Add. 5. Scroll down the list and locate the new user.
Note: Once added, the new user's access level will default to No Access.
6. Click on the Pencil icon under Action to edit user credentials.
7. Select the appropriate access level and click Save.
Note: If you want the user to access codes in the Lock tab, click the View Codes checkbox at the bottom. Selecting an Admin level permission automatically defaults to the user being able to view codes.
