How to notify housekeeping of a late checkout

Use the following steps to notify housekeeping when a guest calls the office requesting a late checkout. 

1. Go to your Properties screen and select Filters.

2. Verify that you do not have any prior filters selected. 

3. Search for the property at the top of the screen under Search

Note: To find a property more easily, change your filters from today’s arrival to today’s checkouts using the date, checkout, and location filter.

4. Click on the property you are looking for to pull up the property page. 

5. Click on the Cleaning Needed property status to request a clean.

Note: If a clean has already been requested, you will continue to re-update the clean to the Clean Needed status. 

6. Under Details, place the guest’s checkout time. You can also select any additional notifications to send.

7. Click on Save.

Once you refresh the page, you will be able to view your checkout alert.
