Reporting Maintenance Items in BeHome247:

When completing a clean or an inspection, you may identify maintenance items that need attention. BeHome247 provides two methods for reporting these items, depending on your operation’s needs.

Please consult with your supervisor to determine the best method for your team.

Option 1: Using the "Maintenance Needed" Tile

This method is straightforward and efficient. Follow these steps:

  1. Find and select the green "Maintenance Finished" tile.
  2. Choose "Needed".
  3. Add any relevant details about the issue.
  4. Attach photos as needed.
  5. If additional staff need to be notified, select them under "Additional Notify".
  6. Click Save.

This will notify the team of the maintenance items and log the update on the timeline for future reference. 


Option 2: Creating a Work Order

This option is ideal if your company uses BeHome247’s maintenance module. Follow these steps:

  1. Find and select the green "Maintenance Finished" tile.
  2. Choose "Needed".
  3. Select "Create Work Order".
  4. Add an assignee (this is required).
  5. Set the severity of the issue.
  6. Select a due date. If the due date is unknown, select today’s date.
  7. Add any relevant details about the issue.
  8. Attach photos as needed.
  9. If additional staff need to be notified, select them under "Additional Notify".
  10. Click Save.

This will create a work order for the property, ensuring the maintenance team has clear instructions and documentation.
