Scheduling Cleaners and Inspectors in BeHome247

Efficient scheduling is a key feature of BeHome247, enabling housekeeping managers to assign cleaning and inspection tasks seamlessly. There are two primary ways to schedule cleaners and inspectors:

  1. Permanent Assignment
  2. Manual Assignment

Permanent Assignment: Permanent assignments allow you to automatically assign a specific cleaner or inspector to a property. This ensures that all cleaning or inspection tasks for the property are consistently assigned to the same user.

Please note both task types will auto populate on the departure date.  

Steps to Assign a Permanent Cleaner or Inspector:

1. Search for the Property:
    • Go to the Properties section and search for the property you want to assign.

2. Access the Property Page:
    • Click on the property name to open its details.
3. Navigate to Settings:
    • Scroll down to the Settings tab under the Property Status icons.
    • Select the Housekeeping option.

4. Assign the Cleaner or Inspector:
    • Scroll to the Permanent Cleaner and Permanent Inspector drop-down menus.
    • Select the desired cleaner or inspector from the list.

5.Save Your Changes:
    • Click Save to confirm the assignment.

Important Note: Ensure that cleaners and inspectors have been added as users and assigned the appropriate roles in the system. Their names will only appear in the drop-down lists if their roles are properly configured.


Manual Assignment: Manual assignments give you flexibility for ad-hoc or specific task scheduling. You can assign tasks to cleaners or inspectors for one-time services or for bulk scheduling.

Steps to Manually Assign a Cleaner or Inspector:

1. Search for the Property:
    • Go to the Properties section and search for the property.

2. Select the Property:
    • Click the checkbox next to the property name.

3.Open the Actions Dropdown:
    • Select the Actions dropdown menu.
4. Choose Assignment Type:
    • Select either Assign Cleaner or Assign Inspector from the list.

Fill out the task creation form, including details like task type, timing, and any specific instructions.
  • Assign to: select cleaner or inspector
  • Due Date: Select the desired task completion date
  • Note: any special requirements of this task.


Please Note: To assign a "Team," select multiple users on the Assign To line. The first user selected will have the ability to edit the task. However, all assigned users will be able to view the task in the system, receive notifications, and update the property's status as needed.

6. Save the Task:

    • Click Save to finalize the manual assignment.

Bulk Assignments: You can assign tasks for multiple properties at once by selecting more than one property during the process.


Specialty Services:

Use the Special Services box during task creation to include unique instructions or tasks outside the standard cleaning or inspection scope. This could be a deep clean, towel exchange or mid-stay clean.

Why can’t I see a cleaner or inspector in the drop-down menu?

What happens if I assign the wrong person to a task?

  • You can reassign tasks by editing the task details in the Services section of the dashboard.

Can I delete an assignment?

  • Assignments can be canceled in the Services section if they are no longer needed.

What happens if multiple users are assigned to the same task?

  • All assigned users can view the task in the system and update the property's status, but only the first user selected in the "Assign To" line will have the ability to edit the task details.
