How to set up a property owner's access to a specific unit

Property owners might request access to their particular units to monitor services, property statuses, or other aspects inside their properties. You can give owners access to a property once you've added them as users inside the BeHome247 platform and selected their roles. 

Follow the steps below to give owners access to a unit: 

1. Navigate to Properties on the left-hand menu bar. 

2. Search for the property you will provide access to and click on its name to open the property page.

3. Click on Settings found underneath the property status icons. 

Note: You will need certain permissions to access the Settings section and perform this task. 

 4. Click on the Users option. 

5. Type in the owner's name or email address and click on Add.

6.  Locate the new user in the list and select the Edit icon. 

7. Assign the appropriate access level. 

Note: Internal policies will dictate what you allow property owners to see. Many property managers do not allow owners to view codes, as access to all master codes belongs only to managers.
